Line of Death
Line Of Death
Swordplay is a game of strength; walk the line of death and should you look down you will be taken by the hands of those you slew and dragged to Hell. Fanatical warriors practice blade devotion until their sweat runs in the shape of swords.
Requires a sword to use.
Layer I:
A technique called “flash cut” or “blade on step”. Strike first regardless of initiative and add 2 to hit and damage. All foes making melee attacks against you in this round add the same bonuses.
Layer II:
A technique called “blood break blade” or “red heaven” or “attack the attack”. Instantly make an attack when targeted in melee. If this attack fails to kill the opponent you are left defenseless and automatically hit. Useable once per round.
Layer III:
A technique called “cutting the wind” or “sickle weasel”. Take 1d6 damage to slash between rushing winds and send a bladed gale buffeting toward a group of foes that deals 2d6 damage. A Breath Save reduces damage by half. Cannot be used without at least a breeze.
