Mask 018: The Mask That Brims With Power

This is the mask that brims with power, made from crystal cut stone. It is shaped like a heart with lattice openings round the eyes. The wearer of the mask becomes magnificent: they fight as an 8th level fighting man, may leap atop buildings in a single bound, and strike with the power of a Giant. However, a change occurs in their personality. Their voice deepens and they become a stalwart champion of Love, and devote themselves to its blossoming and protection.
When put on, the mask that brims with power will overtake the will of the wearer: roll 1d6 and hit equal or under the number of romantic partners the wearer has treated with complete dignity, regardless of the circumstances in the relationship. On a success, the mask trusts the wearer, and will consent to their control. Otherwise, it takes control for 2d6 hours; at the end of this time the mask may be removed, or another check for control is made.
If the mask, even one time, is used to destroy Love then it breaks in half, splitting the wearer’s head in two with it.
