Mineral Man

There are men who have transcended humanity and become minerals. This one is a many-colored man made of salt. He is beautiful and you can see the ridge of his brow, the curl of his moustache, the whorls of his hair that fall in gentle loops all etched in perfect detail. Count his colours: red, blue, grey, yellow, green—wonderful in sunlight, all the more in moonlight. He files himself daily to keep down stalactites that grow off his face like a beard; he loves what he is and so cares for his appearance.

Should he dip a finger in water it becomes salt water; if he blows on food it becomes coated in shining salt. When he claps his hands it sounds like the crash of brass cymbals. He does not need food or water but loves to eat lightning—it fills him with power and doubles his strength and triples his decisiveness for 1 hour; then the hangover, and a doubling of his usual stoicism until the next day. He is comfortable standing perfectly still for 8 hours straight and though he does not sleep he must regularly contemplate the eternal grinding of tectonic plates or grow taciturn.

His body is worth 10,000gp.
