Ogre

It turns out Demon City is taken too, so now this project is called Violent City.

The Bond mechanics are vague at the moment. Basically: make a reaction roll, hit the threshold, and the monster will accomplish a task for you within its means if you have been bonded. I think there should be provisions for summoning the monster wholesale, as well, but these more surgical applications are what I think the norm should be. There's mentions of what behaviour a monster expects: I don't think that these restrictions need to be observed at all times, instead, something like "exhibit this behaviour in the same day you called on the monster's aid" would be fine.

The next step is to make those mechanics precise, and then edit the finished monster entries as needed.

Below is another monster!!

OGRE

5HD / AC as Chain / Damage d6+2 / Change shape / Absorb bullets and weapons / Destroy weapon/armour

Thick coils of copper and bone flex like muscle. A strange shifting carapace over glowering yellow eyes: its frame never rests twice in the same place. The Ogre is carved in the shape of man: yet before your eyes this beast of war slithers underneath a wrecked car; sharp claws penetrate the sides of buildings it scales at will.

A .50 caliber machine gun could pierce its hide to no avail. Bullets, guns, vehicles, and weapons of war are sustenance. Each attack made against or by the monster in melee wears down any equipment involved; the monster’s coils grasp and reach and devour what blades deign strike its flesh. Bullets are absorbed and dispelled.

The remains of victims are decoratively festooned in its lair: a strange grotesque of art. Blood against blood is the only closeness it has ever known.

BOND: An Ogre must first be cowed. Its desires are then simple: weaponry, beautiful cadavers, belts of bullets—evidence of the negotiator’s strength. Once a contract is struck it expects to be led on a path of destruction.

Call upon aid for the following:

Improve disposition with the following:

Ogres loathe mercy and cowardice alike. Each incident reduces its disposition by -1.

INTEGRATE: Go into its den and become a prop in its macabre art. It will try to kill you: its thick corded flesh will choke you and expand into your orifices. Survive, and its body is yours.
